Pickleball Leaderboard — Win Rates, Streaks, Shareable Podium

Half the fun of a pickleball open-play night is the bragging rights at the end. Picklr’s Leaderboard tracks every completed match, ranks players by wins (with win-rate as the tiebreak), highlights active win/loss streaks, and lets you screenshot or share the podium in one tap.

What the Leaderboard shows

  • Top 3 podium. First / second / third place with paired avatars (if in Round Robin mode), the player’s wins count, win rate %, and games played.
  • Ranked list below the podium — every player who played at least one match this session, sorted by wins, then by win rate.
  • Streak chips. 🔥 for a current win streak, ❄️ for a current loss streak, with the count next to each chip.
  • Per-player W/L/Games row info — clear, scannable stats.

Two leaderboard views

There are two tabs at the top of the Leaderboard:

  • This Session. Live stats for the active session only. Resets when a new session starts.
  • Overall (Pro tier). Aggregate stats across every past session — so you can see “best player of the month” trends across multiple nights.

Team-based leaderboard in Round Robin

If your session matching mode is Round Robin, the leaderboard automatically switches to team rankings — paired avatars, combined W/L counts, and rows like “Anna & Ashton — 3W”. The podium and shared snapshots use the same team treatment. This is the right view when partners are locked all night and a single-player ranking wouldn’t make sense.

Shareable podium screenshot

Tap the Share button at the top of the Leaderboard. Picklr generates a high-resolution PNG of the podium + ranked list, watermarked with “Powered by Picklr”. On iOS / Android the native Share sheet opens — send it to your group chat, post to Instagram Stories, save to Photos. On the web app it downloads the PNG directly.

The shared image is the kind of thing your group will actually post — which is the cheapest, most authentic marketing Picklr gets.

Live updating

The leaderboard updates in real time as matches complete. The moment you tap Pick Winner on a court, the winning players’ counts increment and they may jump rank. Spectators watching via Live View see the same updates.

When does a player appear on the leaderboard?

A player must have played at least one completed match to appear. Brand new players in the queue but haven’t played yet don’t show up — keeps the leaderboard meaningful instead of cluttered.

How streaks work

  • 🔥 Win streak. Increments each time the player wins. Resets to 0 on a loss.
  • ❄️ Loss streak. Increments on each loss. Resets to 0 on a win.

Streaks are sequential across the session’s completed matches. If you edit an old match score (using the Edit Score action on Match History), Picklr recomputes streaks for the affected players so the chips stay accurate.

Other share entry points

The leaderboard can also be shared from:

  • Match History tab — separate Share button for the matches list.
  • Past Sessions → View Summary modal — re-share the leaderboard from any saved session.
